Heb 1:14 NKJV Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
In previous episodes, we have talked about believers in Christ Jesus exercising dominion over various aspects of their lives. The morning, the day, and all created things, living and non-living. Scriptures, however, reveal another reality we should enjoy – the ministry of angels.
You are not alone; the Lord's presence is with you, the angels of the Lord is with you!
Psalm 34:7 states, "The angel of the LORD encamps round about those who fear him, delivering them." Around the believer, the Angel of the Lord is ready to deliver, help, protect, and fight for them.
Moreover, angels respond to words. Psalm 103:20 says, "Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word." If angels respond to the voice of God's word, they will respond to the Word of God in your mouth.
Many believers don't fully utilize the advantage we have in God with the gift of angels.
Scripture says "they are to minister for us." That means they can work on your behalf. Other translations use the word "serve." Imagine a delivery person whom you can call to do something for you in a location you may not need to go to. You can deploy your angels to deliver or receive packages for you.
I advise you to do it gently, yet with all authority! You can simply say things like, "I deploy angels to ensure that my documents are signed before I get to the office tomorrow."
Angels can orchestrate things to happen for you. Consider the sound of chariots and an army heard in the camp of the enemy in the story of the lepers in 2 Kings 7:3-20 – that could be the sound of angel armies. God is called Yahweh Sabbaoth, the Lord of Angel Armies.
They are innumerable in their company, so many that they can minister to everyone simultaneously, and the call won't read "none of our representatives are available to attend to you now."
Angels are to your advantage. They are ministering spirits sent to minister for you. They want to run errands on your behalf. Are there things you want to get done? Tell angels to get it done!
They are ministering for you.
In the book of Daniel, it was an angel that was sent to deliver the answer to his prayers. Angels work and do the Lord's work. How much have you taken advantage of the provision of angels? You can send them ahead on your journey to make the way safe. Some go ahead, some are around. They can go to receive and they can go to deliver.
Consider the logistics and delivery agents; that's a similar representation of angels. They don't do their own works; they only hearken to the voice of God's word or the voice of God in the mouths of His children.
Engage your angels; let them minister for you. They can even speak to men ahead for you before you preach the gospel to them. Remember the story of Cornelius in Acts 10:2
Anchor: I deploy my angels to work situations in my favor; the steps of men that will help me are directed to my path. Angels are on guard to protect me from evil. They deliver answers to my prayers. They minister for me and execute the counsel and will of God for me."
Thoughts for meditation - The rhetorical question: Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? [Of course they are!] Heb 1:14 AMP
